Scheduling Time for Social Media

The number one complaint that I hear from people about social media marketing is that it takes too much time. Which leads them to decide between outsourcing their social media activity (not ideal at all), or abandoning it (not really an option if you want business from the web).

So what's the answer? Set up social media participation times that you can manage. Think about social media participation more like other networking and socializing activities.

You don't spend your whole day at networking events, don't spend your whole day on Twitter.

Think about what time commitments you can comfortably afford to make. If you participate while eating breakfast, that's great. Can you afford a couple minutes while you use the restroom? Perfect.
